Spring 2000, our computer lab opened, thanks to the La Jolla Kiwanis Club and Anne Otterson, who funded this project. Honestly, I believe we are the only kindergarten in all of Mexico that has a computer lab. (I used to say that the success of our students has nothing to do with the latest technical equipment because we didn't have any. Well, I can't say that anymore). David Lynch |
Fundraisers Fall Annual Fund Raising Dinner: This is our most successful fund raiser of the year. Email David Lynch at Lynchdavid@aol.com for more information. Thanksgiving Fundraiser This holiday is celebrated with 450 children and adults from the Tijuana city dump. If you would like to participate, email David Lynch at Lynchdavid@aol.com. Christmas Every year, Responsibility plays Santa to hundreds of underprivileged children in Tijuana. Each child writes a letter to Santa and we deliver the letters to schools, social organizations, churches, etc... who then distribute them. Anyone who takes a letter, receives the child's photograph, a drawing, and the child's wish list. If you have a group that would like to participate contact David Lynch at Lynchdavid@aol.com. Graduation It is the third week of June each year. The kids put on skits and dance traditional Mexican dances. Hundreds of people attend this event.
